Bangkok 4 days 3 nights trip '16

This is a long and messy post, ctrl+F to search for your keywords.

Maybe it sounds normal to everyone of you out there
But this sounds so crazy for me
That I went for an overseas trip with friends!
How unbelievable!❤️
Yes, we went to Bangkok, Thailand
For a 4 days 3 nights vacation
It's the near one but I'm still glad that we made it
Go for a trip with friends before graduation is such an awesome idea isn't it
So don't leave any regret and plan one with your friends too right now!

Very appreciate that I have these friends who are willing to take time to plan the routes for us
And the one who is willing to pay in advance for hotel and flights.
FYI my flights cost RM 370+ (return flight KL--DMK+shared return check in baggage)

This was not a budget trip.
We didn't take any public transport except dut-dut for only 1 time.

We got ourself a 7/8 seater car with a driver for the first and second days.

Car rental with driver in Bangkok city + Hua Hin
Kitty : 66833164800
Please don't afraid to whatapps him
Oh yeah Kitty is a he :)
He is good in English so do ask him everything you doubt about.
We even asked him any suggestions for Hua Hin because we didnt research much on that😅
< Just tell the driver where you want to go and he will brings you to there, even if your route is messy like us😅>

Hotel in Bangkok city
Gateway hotel in pratunam
We reserved two rooms for 5 of us through booking.com
And we were very lucky to get the connected rooms!
Try to leave them a message via mail or whatever to book the connected rooms☺️
Their daily breakfast is very simple so don't expect too much.
[Fried rice, fried mee, fried eggs, hotdogs, watermelon, oranges, bread with jam, milk, coffee, orange juice and that's all. ]
They location is quite strategic because once you step out the hotel, it is pratunam market.
And there is an 7-11 besides the hotel.
[ the omelette fried rice Infront the hotel is nice, try it:) ]

Thai Sim Card
There are 2 counters once you found the exit, green and blue
but I don't know what's the difference between them haha
[top right]We bought 2 simcards from the blue counter
[bottom left]Each SIM card has 1.5 gb for 7 days
I used up 1.2 gb till the last day (my own usage+hotspot to my friends)
So, the first thing we have to do is to contact Kitty who supposed to wait us at the airport.
[bottom right] Kitty's brother helped us to fit all our luggage into the car.
And he did helped us to take a group photo before we depart.:)

After we checked in hotel and settled our luggage,
kitty's bro sent us to chatuchak market
The stuffs were quite cheap especially for the phone accessories
[top middle] a big pack of fruits only 40 baht if I'm not mistaken
[top left & top right] Roti Canai with chocolate and condensed milk. So yummm
[bottom left] try this Thai tea if you manage to find it😍 such a good choice to quench your thirst!

Still in chatuchak market.
[top] the customized passport cover, 100 baht for each
I made a couple version for me and my boyfriend
Then I saw a cheaper one in the night market near Siam square with only 80 bath😭
[bottom left] Their clothes seem not bad tho
I think It's worth to buy but I didn't bought many
I'm regretting right now
It was hotter than KL btw
Tbh we can't stand the hot weather so we left really early.
We called kitty's bro to pick us up
Just wonder where he went while waiting for us for few hours..

Then we went to hello kitty cafe at Siam square
Any hello kitty lover reading my blog?
And this is much more better than the HK cafe in sunway pyramid!
[ Nicer foods, better services, prettier surrounding and lesser crowd. ]

Then we went to have some local Thai food.
We actually wanted to try the tomyam.
So we attracted by the name of this restaurant😂
I was like, do they know what is the meaning of "yum sap" in Cantonese?
The tomyam was acceptable. Foods were so-so.
After our dinner, we went to the night market nearby Siam square. (It was actually just located outside the mall.)
No worry, you can easily find a long roadside night market!
Like Cincai Cincai walk 2-3 steps then you will see an unknown night market there.😂[ or maybe they have a name Hah]

We started our journey to Huahin on the next day.
It took 3 hours to reach Huahin from Bangkok.
We had breakfast provided by hotel and we bought some snacks and few liter of water from 7-11 too.
[top middle] entrance fees of santoniri park:

You can find a Naraya shop inside here and some clothing shops and some souvenir shops and some desserts house.
[Naraya here is small, go to central world to buy naraya as there has wider choices for you!]
Take as many photos as you can at here😉
We spent around 2 hours inside Santorini Park, we then went to the Swiss sheep farm.

Swiss sheep farm: located just opposite Santorini Park.
Entrance fee: 120 baht/adult
But don't expect to walk there because there has no walkway for you along the huge road.
[and the most importantly, the weather is hot like hell...so please don't walk..]
We spent around 1 hour here
Tbh, it doesn't worth the price.
Our intention is to meet the cute Alpaca [they have their private room] but need to pay another 100 baht to enter.
So we just walked away and went to see the rabbits...😑
[ perhaps you can stay longer if you can stand with the hot weather and join those grass feeding or meet the alpaca sort of things which we didn't bother much.]

Then we back to Bangkok and we went to Asiatique around 8pm
We love Asiatique
Nice to eat, nice to view, nice to shop!
[top&bottom middle] we had a nice tomyam soup here.
The stuffs here can be bargain so try to bargain with them if you buy a lot.

The last day, we went to platinum mall, Big C and central world.
Big C and central world are just opposite each other and they are both reachable by walking.
And platinum mall can be reach within 5-10 mins from Gateway Hotel by walking!
So it's not necessary to take a dut-dut.
Platinum mall: shop for clothes
Big C: shop for snacks
Central world: We went merely for Naraya

In DMK airport, there is an 7-11 but it is quite far from the entrance.
You can find a Bangkok Original shop [there you can weight your luggage for free] near Domestic flight area.

[ if you are taking power bank with you, please make sure that mAh of your power bank is clearly stated on it.]
I don't know what it is, so just ensure there is a sticker on your power bank stated its mAh Kay 😂

Here's my dribs and drabs!
Hope these are informative for you❤️

- Enjoy and have a nice day! -

Twice a year _ BFF

I'm back to here after few months like finally.
Finally there's something worth to share with you guys.
I kept this draft for months and finally I published it.

The most precious BFF :-

As I was not able to travel to Singapore to meet her because of the fluctuations of currencies
So she made her time to come over before the end of year 2015.
Not a long trip tho.
Just a 2 days 1 night outing.
But spending the last few days of 2015 with my BFF really made my year more memorable!❤️

We planned the hunting route one or two months before December'15.
I did the ''homework'' to welcome her
and we did rent a car as well to make our cafe hunting journey much more convenient.

Zara Car Rental
H/P : 017-6090127
The car rental service that I dealt with.
Viva : RM 110/day for daily use.
Just wanna share with you guys because I found them quite trust-able.
But but, you can find a cheaper car rental btw.
The cheapest can be around RM80/day if i'm not mistaken.

The map that I did for our cafes hunting.
The locations may not be 100% correct but at least nearby lah kayyy 😂
We were not able to hunt all of them
Too many cafes growing in KL
And all of them seem nice!

So the first stop was coffee stain by Joseph at publika.
By the time she reached, it was already around 9 or 10pm.
Luckily the kitchen is still opening.
So she took her late dinner here and I ordered the famous "floating bear" or cat or whatever it is.
The bear was sho sho cute but now I digested it 😏

Then we checked in our hotel.
A big thank you for my boyfriend to find us such comfortable hotel!
FYI, It's Arenaa Hotel.

We took lots of photos before we recharge ourselves!
JxCseries❤️

We started to hunt for cafes on the next morning.
First stop was VCR cafe.
Heard their breakfast set is good so we went for a try and it didn't disappoint us!

Then we went to Lepaq Lepaq cafe
Which is one of the trendiest cafe in town.
What make them popular are their Nasi Lemak cheese cake and the rainy day coffee.
The cake was special, though it was too odd for my liking.
You can taste a little bit of spicy, some taste of coconut milk and the taste of ikan =.=

and the next was Palladium cafe aka Glass House
we went there merely for nice photos since we were full with all the foods we had just now.
Posing even the sun was bright.

Seeing everyone posting their pictures of this cafe especially LucaseeLau!
This cafe's rating in Foursquare is damn high dude!
So we went for a try!
Ordered the soufflé and surprisingly it was so so good! It was freshly baked and the smell of the egg and vanilla was way too nice.
The ambiance is good too which decorated by wooden furniture and I bet this would be the favorite place for a "white-person"!

This is the cafe which she insisted to go!
Hello Kitty cafe in Sunway Pyramid.
To be honest, it is overrated and the desserts are overpriced.
Not recommended but the pinkish decorations really do melt girls' heart.
Especially for a Hello Kitty fans.

We were so hungry at that moment.
So lucky that we were going to have the main course in our next stop !
--Second Sunday--
The main course so called Number Five.
Recommended in almost every comments I found in Foursquare.
Indeed, it is good! And I'll definitely back to it again!

And the last one was P.S.Tokyo
#pstokyo in Instagram and you can have your photos printed out.
their ice cream is yummy but it melted too fast :(

That's all and I do looking forward for our next date.
The BFF that I still loving.

Till Next. xx
